Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6AM to 2PM
Payrate: USD 22.88/hr
Job Responsibilities:
The Packaging Technician is responsible for visually inspecting, assembling, and packaging pharmaceutical products in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role supports production activities by setting up equipment, performing accurate documentation, maintaining inventory movement, and ensuring all packaging processes meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Job Description:

Inspect vials, media-filled units, and packaging components for defects or contamination.

Follow cGMP guidelines and complete accurate, real-time documentation in BPRs/EBRs and inventory systems.

Assemble product and packaging components according to BOMs, production schedules, and supervisory instructions.

Perform inventory adjustments and material movements using SAP or related systems.

Set up and safely operate packaging line equipment and support component preparation.

Move materials such as skids, trays, and containers to support efficient department operations.

Conduct line clearances, counts, and reconciliations of product and components.

Store and secure in-process materials, including organizing product within 2–8°C cold rooms.

Maintain clean, safe, and cGMP-compliant work areas.
Must Haves:

High School Diploma or GED
-
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English (SOPs, BPRs, verbal instructions)

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork
-
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull 300 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions

SAP knowledge and ability to execute notifications

Ability to work in a cGMP, cleanroom, and chemical/low-dust environment
Nice to Haves:

Pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing experience

Experience operating automated packaging equipment

Prior experience in inventory management systems

Familiarity working in 2–8°C cold room environments

Understanding of sterile production processes
