Pay rate and Shift
Job Duration: 3+ Month
Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm
  Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
l Support commercial sales and service with respect to legal review of customer terms, bid tender submissions, HIPAA Business Associate Agreements, and customer disputes
l Support commercial sales and services with legal review of government contract terms and conditions
l Draft commercial sales and services agreements with customers, including revisions to customer terms and conditions
l Draft commercial sales and services agreements with group purchasing organizations and integrated delivery networks
l Train commercial sales and service on “battle of the forms” process, term interpretation and drafting agreements
l Draft standard agreements (e.g., confidential disclosure, material transfer, evaluation, and professional services agreements)
l Engage with external customers and their legal representatives regarding contract terms
l Provide guidance as required
l Perform legal research as required
l Maintain library of forms and resources
l Owner of the paralegal request SharePoint site to ensure turn around targets are met.
l Responsible to drive for improvements in paralegal process SharePoint and identify opportunities that impact turn around times and impact to revenue
l Develop written procedures, work flow plans or other systems for practice areas as required
l Professionally and diplomatically resolve issues regarding customer concerns and other matters as necessary
l Apply innovative problem solving skills and judgment to assist in managing corporate risk
l Identify best practices to influence continuous improvement in the organization.
  Job Requirements :
l Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
l Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Computer Skills: MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and the Internet. Candidates should possess a strong computer software background and be comfortable gaining proficiency quickly as the department utilizes various third party software applications.
l Certificates and Licenses: Paralegal Certificate, CLA/CP Certification or equivalent paralegal experience.
l BA/BS from an accredited college or university, a paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited school (or any equivalent combination of related experience, training, and/or education), plus five or more years of experience as a paralegal which should preferably be in-house for a corporation.
