As a Paraprofessional, you are the connection between consistency and success with the opportunity to inspire the learning and growth of students across the district.

The Paraprofessional role with St. Johns County Public Schools gives you the ability to:

  • Support teachers and students to make every school day a success.
  • Team up with teachers, admins, and staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Jump into different classrooms—from general ed to special ed—to aid wherever you're needed most.
  • Support learning, social interaction, behavioral, safety, communication, or mobility needs for students with care, compassion, and confidence.
Duties:
  • Team up with amazing teachers, follow their lead, and support their game plan for the day.
  • Bring lessons to life by assisting with the implementation of activities and instructional plans prepared by district staff.
  • Be prepared to assist with basic or routine hygiene activities involving the student's face or hands. These activities must be performed at the direction of or under the direct supervision of District/School personnel and must be directly related to the duties of the position.
  • For your own safety, as well as that of students and district staff, Kelly Education requires Paraprofessionals adherence to a ‘S.A.F.E. Touch' policy as it relates to physical contact between you and students. This policy is located in the Kelly Education Handbook Addendum, reference Section: KELLY EDUCATION 'S.A.F. E TOUCH' POLICY.
Requirements:
  • Must be least 20 years old
  • Must have at least 60 College Credits
  • Able to work at least 1 Monday and 1 Friday per month
Position Details:
  • Full-time or Part-time – at your discretion!
