Job Title: Administrative Assistant I – Part-Time Office Administrator (Temporary)
Location: Addison, IL (In-person)
Hours: 20-25 hours/week

A leading manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment with five manufacturing sites across the United States, is seeking an entry-level Administrative Assistant I for a temporary role. This is a great opportunity for individuals studying for a career in IT or HR who want to gain hands-on, real-world experience. Job Duties:

  • Work closely with our IT partner, Magnitech, to ensure our 225 employees have the technology resources they need.
  • Cross-train on various HR responsibilities, including maintaining electronic and hard copy personnel files, OSHA recordkeeping, stocking kitchen/office supplies, and supporting other HR tasks as needed.
  • Track and coordinate facility service schedules.
  • Serve as the front desk receptionist, welcome visitors, and assist with company employee events.
  • Perform other clerical and office duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
  • College coursework in HR or IT preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
