Part-Time Communications Specialist

Temporary
$35-55/hr
*Hours: 20 hours per week during regular business hours
*Potential for full-time hours down the road, if desired
*Hybrid option available – must be onsite in Sunnyvale at least once a week
Kelly is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to work with our client, a leader in the biotech industry, on a temporary basis through the end of 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a growing company that uses cutting-edge technologies to improve patient outcomes globally!
The Communications Specialist will focus on graphic design, PowerPoint storytelling, and video production to help elevate the company's employee experience through high-impact visuals and engaging storytelling.
Specifically, the Communications Specialist will:
- Support the internal communications team with compelling content and design
- Design eye-catching PowerPoint presentations, infographics, and other visual assets
- Support intranet and digital channel optimization, including UX improvements (a plus)
- Develop culture and employer branding content for internal channels and social media
- Shoot and edit videos for internal storytelling and campaigns
- Collaborate on content planning and channel strategies
- Help analyze usage data and metrics to optimize performance
- 2+ years of experience in corporate or internal communications or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related program
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, plan, prioritize and independently execute projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing, editing and communications skills across multiple media, including speeches, email, video scripts, editorial and social content
- Strong digital content management systems skillset (Sharepoint, Viva Engage, digital signage systems, Microsoft Stream)
