Quality Assurance Technician - Irvine, CA
Position Overview:
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a full-time position at a leading pharmaceutical client in Irvine, CA. $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
Mon-Fri, with occasional Saturdays
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to oversee and maintain the quality of our products throughout the production process. The role will involve routine inspections, labeling activities, raw material testing, and adherence to GMP standards to ensure all products meet quality specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Issue labeling to the packaging department and record the issuance on packaging records.
- Maintain labeling reconciliations and documentation in compliance with SOPs and GMPs.
- Coordinate the approval/rejection and destruction of outdated or obsolete labeling inventory.
- Perform labeling inspections, inventory counts, and serialization labeling tasks.
- Conduct in-process inspections and physical testing of products, including but not limited to bulk/tapped density, weight variation, friability, disintegration, and LOD.
- Inspect and sample incoming raw materials and retested materials for delivery to the Quality Control Laboratory, adhering to SOPs.
- Complete raw material receipt records, ensure correct labeling, and execute the release or disposition of materials.
- Operate and maintain the sampling chamber in line with established SOPs.
- Maintain and calibrate analytical equipment used for QA physical testing.
- Coordinate the collection of finished goods for reserve/retain samples.
- Perform timely review of in-process QA testing data and batch records for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and adhere to all SOPs.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance environment or chemistry laboratory preferred.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in applying basic math concepts.
- Strong ability to work in a positive, team-oriented environment.
