Position Highlights:

• Perform crucial blood collection tasks that demand knowledge of clinical science.
• Obtain specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring comprehensive patient care through precise phlebotomy techniques.
• Accession and manage samples in the VA laboratory information system for immediate and reference testing.
• Provide guidance to patients for proper specimen collection, contributing to quality healthcare.
• Foster positive relationships with patients and healthcare staff, enhancing overall experience.
• Assist in administrative support to maintain efficient operations in the drawing area.

Hours: 

• Full-time: 5:30am - 2:00pm; Part-time: 5:30am - 8:30am

Pay: $23.08 + 4.93 H&W

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma
• One year experience in the last 3 years
• Certification preferred
• BLS (AHA or MTN)
