Pick, Pack, Material Handler - Newville, PA

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$21 per hour

What's a typical day as a Pick, Pack, Material Handler? You'll be:

• Manually or using a hand truck performing various material handling duties in the facility.
• Manually loading finished product on pallets or hand trucks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas.
• Providing cleaning services, including sweeping floors, cleaning offices, and removing trash in proper containers or designated areas.
• Performing other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
• Can stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Can lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Are capable of regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Are able to walk frequently in a distribution center and around the area; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
• Can work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation and can access all areas of the building without limitations.
• Have the ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed by the customer.
• Have strong attention to detail.
