Position Title: Planner
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Compensation: $36-$40 Hourly

Location: Raynham, MA
Position Summary:
The Planner will be responsible for preparing production schedules, analyzing demand forecasts, and managing raw material and component requirements. This role ensures timely order completion, monitors production capacity, and addresses potential constraints. The Planner will collaborate with various departments to ensure on-time delivery, prepare production reports, and assist with new product launches and forecasting adjustments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure the timely completion of work orders.
- Analyze product demand, sales patterns, forecasts, production specifications, and plant capacity data.
- Determine raw material and component requirements based on engineering and production specifications.
- Review support documents such as route sheets and ensure all requirements are entered into the planning system.
- Monitor production planning systems, updating lead times and related information.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including customers, sales offices, and plant production departments, to ensure on-time delivery.
- Evaluate capacity loads and identify potential manufacturing constraints.
- Address and resolve production issues related to capacity, new product launches, and part shortages.
- Expedite parts procurement to support manufacturing activities and ensure timely component delivery.
- Prepare and analyze production reports to evaluate month-end activities and suggest adjustments to forecasts.
- Participate in new product launch meetings, assisting with the development of forecasts and production schedules.
- Control production schedules and material requirements, ensuring a smooth flow of materials aligned with production needs.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience in planning or production scheduling.
