  • Schedule: 5AM - 2:30PM  - Monday - Friday

What's a typical day as a Plant Labor? You will: 

The role involves feeding paper, magazines, and cardboard onto a conveyor belt for shredding, contributing to the production of acoustic thermal insulation. Candidates should have previous warehouse or manufacturing experience and an understanding of safety protocols to ensure efficient operations. Workers must be able to stand for long hours, work in a dusty, non-climate-controlled environment, and safely lift up to 50 lbs. when needed. Proper protective gear, including steel-toe or composite safety shoes, is required to maintain workplace safety.

 

Qualifications on the Requisition:
 

  • It is preferred that candidates have previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, and have an awareness of safety protocol.

  • It is also preferred that candidates are English speaking or bilingual, as safety training and communication is in English.

  • Candidates must be able to stand throughout the day. This site operates 12 hour shifts, and with the exception of break, they will be standing the entire shift.

  • May need to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Contingent workers will be required to wear steel toe or composite safety shoes/boots.

  • Environment is not climate controlled. It is an enclosed warehouse. Environment is dusty, as paper is being shredded to be recycled into thermal insulation.
