Job Title: Plater (Production Metal Finishing)
Join our team in Grand Rapids as a Plater (Production Metal Finishing) and help us deliver high-quality metal finishes for a variety of products! This is a great opportunity for individuals with an eye for detail who enjoy working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Your work ensures our products meet the highest standards, and you'll be part of a team committed to both quality and safety.
Wage: Hourly, $18+ per hour
Schedule: M – F 7:00 – 3:30 PM , OR 5:00 A – 1:30 PM
Production Runs Monday - Thursday, and tank maintenance / solution controls is done on Fridays (in addition to other days / as needed)

What You'll Do:

Operate plating lines and processes to apply metal finishes to parts according to production schedules.

Make process adjustments, including tank parameters like temperature and flow, and maintain correct chemical balances.

Inspect finished parts for defects and monitor plating quality, taking action to resolve any issues.

Perform basic maintenance on plating equipment and tanks, and assist with troubleshooting.

Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for chemical handling and waste management.

Maintain accurate documentation of process settings, adjustments, and production output for compliance and quality assurance.
What We're Looking For:

Technical experience in metal finishing, but on-the-job manufacturing training will be provided.

Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or irregularities.

Willingness to learn about safety and environmental standards in metal finishing operations.

Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
