Title: Process Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months +
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00/hour


Overview

• Provides process engineering and controls support.
• Plans and conduct activities related to the development of new processes including researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process cost, quality, and capability alternatives, and performing process characterization and optimization using designed experiments, and problem solving and decision-making tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates basic engineering activities to effect high quality processes and design guidelines for dissemination throughout the division.
• Provides basic design reviews and feedback for improvements in manufacturability.
• Maintains equipment, materials, and process performance requirements; performs vendor and equipment searches to ensure adequate capability to produce quality products in required quantities at effective costs.
• Coordinates designed experiments and capability studies, documents process specifications, and procure process tools.
• Assists in the evaluation and selection of suitable equipment for optimized, balanced line performance.
• Supports new processes and equipment analysis.
• Develops process documentation and maintains training material on processes, materials, and equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Will consider candidates with equivalent hands on experience
• Minimum of 2 years' experience
• Injection Molding Tool Design and Development experience
• Scientific Injection Molding methodology experience
• Experience with Measurement System Analysis and DOE / Process Characterization
• Strong Project Management experience and skills
