What's a typical day as Procurement/Supply Chain - Buyer? You'll be:
• Creating and executing purchase orders and requisitions to support project needs.
• Creating new Material Master numbers and updating project systems component lists in SAP.
• Reconciling receiving, quality, and invoice issues to ensure accurate processing.
• Negotiating supplier pricing, terms, and establishing strong supplier relationships.
• Supporting other purchasing functions and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Maintaining compliance with health and safety policies and keeping work areas hazard-free.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a BS/BA degree (required).
• Possess SAP experience (required), with a minimum 3-5 years in supply chain and production planning.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Are well organized, able to multitask, and manage priorities across multiple projects.
• Are proficient in Word, Excel, and business systems; accounting skills are a plus.
• Can build and maintain effective supplier relationships and support production processes.
• Thrive in a project and production-based environment with strict timelines and shifting priorities.
