Product Compliance & Nutrition Analyst - Remote
  Recruiting for a Product Compliance & Nutrition Labeling Analyst for food company.  This role is remote and will support the Product Compliance, Nutrition, Labeling and Certifications Team with the label development and product specification review process for Exclusive Brands products.  Responsible for assisting the Product Compliance and Nutrition Analyst with regulatory & compliance technical questions, nutrition data analysis, artwork review and first production label approvals.    Job Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and workflow of technical information utilizing web-based project management applications.  
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure the specifications are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory guidelines and COMPANY Quality Standards. 
  • Follow-up with supplier on outstanding product specification requests as necessary.
  • Review label-sensitive information during artwork development and first production approvals 
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure responsibilities within established timelines are met.
 Job Requirements and Qualifications
  • BS or equivalent experience in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science or Quality Assurance or BS or equivalent experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, OTCs or other non-food categories.
  • Prior experience working in a time-sensitive project-oriented environment.
  • Experience with food labeling and reviewing artwork is required.
  • Must be detail oriented and extremely organized.
  • Works effectively both independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting established timelines
  • Experience working with vendors/suppliers is required
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
 
Preferences:  The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working in consumer packaged goods industry 
  • Knowledge of food labeling and FDA/USDA regulations
  • General understanding of product development and commercialization
  • Familiarity with retailer web-based specification systems is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills and accuracy
Job Details:
  • M-F; 8am-5pm/flexible
  • Remote
