Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Production Floor Supervisor in Des Plaines, IL. Candidate must have 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.

This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Job Details
The Production Floor Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing day-to-day manufacturing and production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This individual will manage production staff, maintain workflow, monitor quality standards, and ensure a safe and organized environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused culture.

Job Description
Lead, coach, and motivate production team members to meet daily and weekly production goals.
Maintain accountability for safety, quality, and performance metrics.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Schedule and prioritize jobs for print, finishing, and assembly to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
Identify and resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs.
Ensure all products meet quality standards before leaving production.
Work closely with the Creative and Customer Experience teams to resolve discrepancies, claims or errors.
Recommend and implement improvements to production methods and workflow to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Support the adoption of new equipment, tools, and technologies.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members follow OSHA and company guidelines.
Report and document workplace incidents and work proactively to prevent reoccurrence.


Skills/Qualifications Required
3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.
Strong understanding of print production or signage manufacturing is a plus.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with production tracking tools or ERP systems preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
