Looking for an exciting opportunity with a reputable West Melbourne PCB manufacturing facility?  

Line Lead -Production Flow Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure production flow is uninterrupted and unobstructed at all time
Ability to maintain a tight schedule
Keen awareness of time sensitivity
Protect continuity of work operations by following standardized process Continuously supply raw materials and parts
Transport finished products away from the work area
Remove waste, and update supervisors/management with product counts
Help build positive relations within all levels of the team
Ability to understand and visualize the process flow to alert management of any potential and/or on-going issues or road-blocks that may arise.

Other responsibilities as directed and deemed necessary for the business. Analyze, plan, and manage production control activities to improve runtime.

Review production plan to identify risks and communicate to Planning team/Supervisor and Leads.
Controls and Monitors inventory flow to each cell to avoid any shortages and/or excesses.
Controls and monitor material movement in and out of the supermarkets to ensure continuous inventory flow.
Reviews change orders per build plan and execute them appropriately. Investigate cross functional problems, analyze root causes, and drives for solutions.
Ensure that staffs follow company policies and safety procedures.
Determine equipment, material and manpower requirements for each job order. Monitor the execution of job orders and adjust production schedule for timely delivery.
Develop positive relationship with staffs and customer to meet productivity goals. Assist with resolving bottlenecks and line down situations.
Negotiate job orders with planning team based on equipment capacity and material availability.
Work with closely with the planning team in identifying and resolving production flow/planning problems.
Reports daily build information against the plan to the Planner of each program.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Electronics manufacturing experience is a plus
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is desired
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Ability to work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
Self-motivated and independent to drive tasks forward
Proficient in MS Office Suite and comfortable learning/using computer software as required for the role
Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.

Pay rate $16.00 neg
Shift is 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday
Overtime is sometimes required
Ability to pass background screenings, drug test and vision test before employment begins. 

Must be ITAR complaint
