Production Manager
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-4pm - with 1 later day leaving at 5pm with an occasional Saturday from 7am-11am
Location: Attleboro, MA area

- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the production department, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee labor reporting systems, ensuring proper labor code usage, tracking productivity, and implementing improvement plans for underperforming areas.
- Direct, plan, and coordinate all production activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Ensure personnel adhere to company policies, operating procedures, and safety standards.
- Analyze and monitor department budgets, controlling labor costs, overtime, and operational expenses.
- Establish and maintain effective work schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels to meet production goals.
- Lead Tier 2 meetings to provide supervisors with necessary resources and clear communication of priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production processes.
- Monitor and manage key performance metrics, including reducing late orders, minimizing tool/die breaks, and improving inventory levels.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure seamless production operations.
- Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate staff to foster a high-performing team environment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements, maintaining a culture of workplace safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that promotes collaboration and accountability.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and have 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing and production management.
- Have a strong background in continuous improvement strategies, production planning, and inventory management.
- Possess excellent leadership, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills with a passion for coaching and employee development.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and production performance tracking tools.
- Are a proactive, results-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Are bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus).
