  Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm About the Role Are you looking to build your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a global leader? DuPont's Shelter Business is seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of our production lines. You'll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, collaborate with supportive colleagues, and contribute directly to the success of our business. What You'll Do

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain assigned manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Check finished products to confirm they meet strict quality standards.
  • Record plant metrics and assist in identifying ways to optimize performance.
  • Use your technical know-how to troubleshoot issues, perform minor repairs, and support preventative maintenance activities.
  • Safely operate and maintain forklifts within the production area.
  • Maintain accurate written records, follow established operating procedures, and report any deviations or concerns.
  • Coach and train new team members on equipment and plant operations.
  • Support housekeeping and organization to ensure a tidy, safe work environment.
  • Assist with other tasks as directed to maintain smooth plant operations.
What You'll Bring
  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
  • Valid US driver's license.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, military, or related fields preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice.
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed shoes, hardhat, safety glasses, and flame-resistant clothing.
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements, such as climbing stairs and bending.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Reliability, adaptability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
