Description

Production Planner | Bothell, WA

$50–$60/hr | M–F, Business Hours | Contract to Hire

On-site opportunity with a global biotech leader!

Kelly Engineering is hiring a Production Planner for a cutting-edge biotechnology company in Bothell, WA, and this isn't just a short-term role. While you'll start as a contractor, the goal is long-term: the hiring manager is fully invested in converting the right candidate to a full-time employee after proving themselves on the job.

This is your chance to take ownership of global production planning, apply lean tools that make a real impact, and earn your place on a high-performing team through strong performance and collaboration.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support global supply and demand
  • Drive process improvements to reduce lead times and improve inventory turnover
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams and manufacturing partners
  • Apply Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, and SAP MRP methodologies
  • Support data-driven decisions using Power BI, Excel, and other planning tools

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with lean tools and driving process improvements
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with large datasets
  • Bonus points for experience in biotech or regulated environments

Why this role stands out:

Start as a contractor, but show your value, and you'll have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role. The hiring manager is committed to growing the team long-term and is looking for someone who wants to build a future here, not just fill a seat.

Apply now if you're ready to step into a role where performance leads to opportunity.
