Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing manufacturer, is looking for a Production Supervisor in Des Plaines, IL.
This is a direct hire position meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit, vacation and compensation package upon hire.

The ideal candidate will ensure that production operations are carried out efficiently and safely while maintaining the highest quality standards. The Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in organizing workflows, managing personnel, and reporting performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, optimizing work processes to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor production outputs and quality standards, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement and uphold quality control measures.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and skill levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for management review.
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement practices and initiatives.
- Manage and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three + years of experience as a Production Supervisor
- Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement training.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Proficient in using production management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
