Production Technicians needed in Vernon Texas
Starting pay $21.81 with increase upon permanent hire
These are temp hire opportunities with excellent benefits and work environment

MUST be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift: (8-8)
4 day shifts /4 days off/ 4 night shift/ 4 days off

What will you be doing?

• Safe production, transfer, and packaging of various raw materials and products
• Operation of conveyors, reactors, mills, and blenders
• Observation and recording of readings from gauges, instruments, computer displays, electronic logbooks, and laboratory analysis
• Making changes in pressure, flow, temperature, level, mixture, and other factors
• Operation of valves, switches, levers, and other control devices
• Performance of daily safety and housekeeping tasks (e.g., picking up, washing, sweeping, and shoveling)
• Operation of various moving equipment such as trucks and forklifts
• Accurate and legible record-keeping in operating log books and/or Access Databases
• Use of multiple communication tools (e.g., computers, email, RCS, Windows programs, telephone, PA systems, radios)

What is required?

• Ability to learn and apply new skills with minimal supervision and errors
• Responsibility for high-value products and equipment
• Reliable and conscientious work ethic
• Consistent work attendance and timely shift relief; no tolerance for absenteeism and tardiness
• Basic math skills and the ability to interpret lab results for process changes
• Physical and mental dexterity
• Good Working knowledge of machinery and forklift
• Steel toe boots
• Ability to lift 55 lbs
• Drug and Criminal background screens will be completed prior to starting
