Project Manager (Contract) – Regulatory & Manufacturing Transition

Location: Pomona, CA (on-site, 5 days/week; occasional travel to Brea)
Duration: 24 months
Rate: $52-54p/h

A well-established, global medical device organization is seeking a Project Manager to lead a critical regulatory and manufacturing transition. This contract role will manage a multi-year initiative focused on changing the legal manufacturing address across a global product portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance while minimizing business disruption.

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in regulated environments and can confidently drive complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the full project lifecycle for a global legal manufacturer address change.

  • Build and manage integrated project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.

  • Oversee regulatory submissions and support audits related to the address change across impacted markets.

  • Track progress, costs, risks, and mitigation plans; proactively address issues that could impact compliance or supply continuity.

  • Manage inventory transition strategies to avoid shortages, excess scrap, or production interruptions.

  • Deliver clear, executive-ready updates on progress, risks, and financial impacts.

  • Lead teams through ambiguity and tight deadlines with a sense of urgency and accountability.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of project management experience in medical device, life sciences, or other regulated industries

  • Strong experience leading cross-functional, regulatory-driven initiatives

  • Excellent communication, planning, and risk management skills

  • PMP certification and/or MBA

  • Experience working within PMOs or structured project management frameworks
