Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Propagation Assistant to work at a premier nursery located in St. Paul, Oregon. We're here every step of the way to help you and your career bloom. Bring your energy and expertise—we'll help you grow into the role you're meant for.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$21.88/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime may be required during the busy season.

What's a typical day as a Propagation Assistant? You'll be:

  • Monitoring and adjusting greenhouse humidity and environmental controls using automated systems

  • Performing daily irrigation tasks based on plant needs, including spot watering

  • Maintaining greenhouse cleanliness: cleaning defoliated materials, weeding, spraying

  • Disinfecting propagation houses between crop sets and following safety protocols

  • Communicating consistently with the Propagation Supervisor and Lead

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have an Associate's degree in Horticulture and 2+ years of nursery or greenhouse experience (required)

  • Are confident with plant propagation and have experience managing environmental controls

  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to make independent decisions

  • Can lift up to 50 pounds, work in varying outdoor conditions, and operate equipment

  • Are comfortable working independently and occasionally on weekends

  • (Preferred but not required) Are bilingual in Spanish
