- Location: Elkhorn, WI & Burlington, WI
- Target pay: $50k-60k+/year depending on relevant experience
Role Summary:
The QA Document Control Specialist ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards, supports management and staff with documentation needs, provides training, and oversees ISO 9001 and FSSC documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain quality records per the retention policies.
Conduct environmental monitoring and manage sample shipments.
Oversee equipment calibrations and documentation.
Support ERP system for quality control functions.
Serve as backup for the Quality Supervisor.
Assist with housekeeping audits.
Manage controlled documents, updates, and access.
Train employees on document control processes.
Ensure documents meet quality and compliance standards.
Maintain document filing systems and databases.
Safeguard confidentiality of sensitive documentation.
Prepare reports and audits to ensure accuracy.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and technical comprehension.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to collaborate across departments.
Compliance with company policies on safety, harassment, and discrimination.
HACCP and PMQCI certification within six months.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or associate degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
1–2 years of laboratory experience.
