Quality Inspector
Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in high-volume inspections? Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our clients team for an exciting 2-month project that could transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that materials and products meet rigorous quality standards. You'll inspect incoming materials, perform testing, and work collaboratively to ensure smooth production processes in an ISO 9001 environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a high-tempo manufacturing operation.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect and test materials, products, and installations to ensure they meet specifications.
- Analyze drawings and data to determine the correct inspection and testing methods.
- Record inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and input data into systems.
- Perform first article inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in identifying and resolving production issues to minimize downtime.
- Mark materials as conforming or nonconforming and handle noncompliant items according to company procedures.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a manufacturing or electronics environment, preferably in high-volume inspections.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of GD&T and familiarity with ISO 9001 environments.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment.
- Comfortable handling high-volume inspection workloads.
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to ITAR regulations.
