Description

The Quality & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality, safety, and compliance programs within the warehouse and distribution facility. This role ensures adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements, Lean standards, and internal operating procedures. The coordinator partners closely with operations, leadership, and cross-functional teams to promote a safe, organized, compliant, and continuously improving work environment.

Monday-Friday
21.00 per hour


Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinate and support quality, safety, and compliance programs across warehouse and distribution operations
  • Manage and audit Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and compliance activities
  • Promote, implement, and audit Lean practices such as 5S, visual management, and standard work
  • Conduct regular facility audits and inspections, track findings and corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, organization, and efficiency
  • Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and compliance records
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Train warehouse staff on safety procedures, quality standards, and Lean practices
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to quality, safety, and compliance
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and leadership to address compliance gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Support internal and external audits as required
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, quality, compliance, safety, or continuous improvement
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
  • Effective communication and training skills across all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of Lean principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) and continuous improvement practices
  • Familiarity with EHS standards, audits, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Analytical thinking and sound judgment in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams.
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to seek out and take on responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage daily tasks for direct reports.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
