Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Waterloo Works – Tractor Operations
Assignment Length: 24 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)
Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour
Shift Information: 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). Overtime may be scheduled at end of shift. Onsite only; metatarsal safety boots required on day one.

Position Overview:
This position integrates you into the engineering culture, performing specific quality engineering assignments that are limited in scope and reviewed by senior colleagues. About 80% of time will be spent on the shop floor in a hands-on, factory environment.
Job Duties:
- Carry out activities under guidance to support analysis, methods, process steps, plant, machinery, and equipment for designing and improving manufacturing or materials processes
- Contribute to development and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions
- Support drafting of engineering standards/specifications and evaluation of their effectiveness
- Carry out inspections under supervision; make recommendations for remedial works
- Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers; act as point of contact
- Identify and address shortcomings in processes and procedures using change management programs
- Support and advise others in knowledge management systems
- Participate in product development and engineering activities; analyze customer needs and deliver products
- Work within project management plans to achieve specific goals
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level in Technology, Engineering, Communications, Business, Computer Science, and/or Data Analytics
- Open to recent graduates with manufacturing internships
- Problem solving/decision making skills
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to spend significant time on feet in shop/factory environment

- Must be comfortable in factory/shop floor environment and occasional intra-facility travel
- May drive Gator or tractor inside the factory upon completing safety training; use personal vehicle for travel within 20 miles
