Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing detailed inspections of products to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to patient safety and product excellence.
Schedule: On-site Monday through Thursday day shift 10-hour shift (some OT)
Length of assignment: Six-month assignment possibly Temp to hire
Pay: $25 an hour
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect reusable and disposable instruments and components
- Perform Inspections: Conduct inspections per Standard Operating Procedures, Inspection Forms, and Drawings.
- Utilize comparator, micrometers, and calipers.
- Use of microscope for inspection.
- Spot defects and inconsistencies with precision.
- Read and understand blueprints
- Maintain accurate inspection documentation and perform inventory transactions.
- Achieve inspection cycle time standards.
- Execute accurate transactions in ERPLx.
- Assist in updating quality documentation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Additional Duties: Follow all safety requirements Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Proficiency in using a microscope.
- Previous experience with micrometers and calipers
- Previous experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
- Basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction of whole numbers and decimals.
- Strong attendance record and reliability.
- Ability to work in a clean room
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
- Physical Ability: Lift a minimum of 30 lbs and sit/stand for long periods.
- Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing or quality control.
- Basic knowledge of FDA Regulations, GMP, ISO 9001/ISO 13485.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in FDA/GMP regulated environments
- Familiarity with SOPs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs and inspection software.
