Now Hiring: Quality Inspector – Clifton Springs, NY
Join a well-established precision manufacturer as a Quality Inspector. This role involves inspecting mechanical and electro-mechanical parts to ensure they meet all visual and dimensional standards before shipping to the customer. Ideal candidates will have prior inspection experience in manufacturing, especially with small parts and tight tolerances.

Pay Rate: $16.00–$30.00/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift
Location: Clifton Springs, NY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, machined components, and assemblies using hand tools and precision instruments
  • Use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, pin gauges, and CMMs
  • Perform visual inspections with microscopes and optical comparators
  • Document inspection results, non-conformances, and prepare quality paperwork for shipments
  • Follow ISO 9001 standards and company quality procedures
  • Use internal systems (e.g., ERP/Syteline) to manage inventory, traceability, and recordkeeping
  • Handle parts weighing up to 40 lbs

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and similar tools
  • Understanding of GD&T is strongly preferred
  • Experience with CMMs and SPC is a plus
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and written documentation skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
