Quality Inspector – Manufacturing
Location: Phoenix AZ 85027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm (40 hours/week)
Wage: $18–$20/hr (pay negotiable based on experience)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Quality Inspector, supporting manufacturing and servicing operations. In this role, you will perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections, ensuring adherence to ISO and FDA standards. You will be key to maintaining product quality in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MDSAP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820/211, EU MDR, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct component, assembly, and product inspections using blueprints and standard measurement equipment.
  • Perform product testing utilizing qualification equipment.
  • Identify, segregate, and document rejected materials and components.
  • Participate in Material Review Boards to process and resolve non-conformance reports.
  • Enter and retrieve inspection and non-conformance data from local and global quality systems.
  • Review Quality documentation (DHRs, calibration records).
  • Support local problem-solving initiatives and help identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate inspection results professionally, including the delivery of unpleasant news as needed.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 1–2 years' experience in a manufacturing or quality role.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficient in generating detailed documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with team members and delivering news with professionalism.
Additional Information:
  • Open position, temp to hire (3–6 month period before conversion).
  • Paid training provided (1 week, then several weeks of process-specific training).
  • Closed for holidays on December 24–26 and January 1–2.
