Pay: $27.50-$30.80
Quality Inspector
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
- Inspect in-process and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
- Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures to determine acceptance or rejection of products.
- Follow standardized and routine written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
- Visually inspect products using magnifying glasses, lot sampling methods, first article checks, and/or AOI machines.
- Enter standardized information into the computerized MES system using simple keystrokes to indicate pass or failure of boards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent required, with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience.
- Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or a degree in a related field preferred.
- QC certification preferred.

As a Quality Technician at our Salt Lake City, UT facility, you will help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards through accurate inspections, thorough documentation, and strong collaboration with production and engineering teams. You will support problem-solving efforts, uphold ESD controls, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality directly impact product reliability and customer satisfaction.
What Will You Do?
- Perform quality control inspections on products, components, and processes to identify non-conformances.
- Document and report inspection results promptly and accurately.
- Communicate quality issues, risks, and resolutions to production, engineering, and leadership.
- Support customer satisfaction by addressing quality-related questions and concerns.
- Implement and maintain Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control procedures to protect sensitive components.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality-related problems.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes, systems, and product quality.
- Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet shared quality goals.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge of quality standards and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
