Overview 
Our client is a well-established manufacturer specializing in precision-engineered products for the aerospace industry. They offer cutting-edge solutions and maintain a strong commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of production and service.

As the Quality Manager, you will oversee and enhance the quality systems within both manufacturing and repair operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing processes that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role is integral in maintaining high-quality production, fostering continuous improvement, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications for performance and reliability.
  • Manage inspection procedures across receiving, repair, and manufacturing functions to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop quality team members to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Oversee First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
  • Establish and track key quality metrics, driving corrective actions based on data-driven analysis.
  • Facilitate and support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory assessments.
  • Work closely with suppliers to enhance quality programs and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to integrate quality best practices across all business functions.
    
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a quality role within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, including FAA and AS9100 standards.
  • Experience managing supplier quality programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
    
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an organization with ODA (Organization Designation Authorization) approval.
  • Experience with obtaining or maintaining Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) or Product Manufacturer Approval (PMA) programs.
