Description

Kelly Science is seeking a Quality Specialist (Hygienist) for a company located in Eau Claire, WI.
 
Shift: Night Rotating 2-2-3 schedule; 6:00PM to 6:00AM
Employment Type: Full Time; Direct Hire
 
Responsibilities include:
 

  • Oversee and analyze pre-requisite programs, updating risk assessments and Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Play a key role in implementing and maintaining environmental monitoring programs.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze environmental data to eliminate pathogens.
  • Collaborate with Pest Control to close identified gaps.
  • Develop and execute pre-requisite program training.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures through coaching on the production floor.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Contractors for facility hygiene.
  • Lead improvement projects based on cross-functional team feedback.
  • Provide guidance for factory sanitation and continuous program improvements.
  • Conduct GMP, foreign body, and pest control inspections with record maintenance.
  • Participate in HACCP reviews and manage hygiene system records per ISO and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Continuous Improvement for zero defect goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Identify non-conformance and coordinate Quality/Food Safety risk analysis.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related scientific field.
  • Working knowledge of pathogens and environmental monitoring
  • Experience in pre-requisite programs , hygiene and sanitation strongly preferred.
