Kelly, in partnership with a growing construction company, is looking for a Rebuild Service Manager in Grand Rapids, MI!
This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit, vacation and compensation package upon hire.

- Hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
- Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 base salary plus commission and incentives – ability to double base salary!
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Organize and supervise the service department's staff, including handling administrative responsibilities, scheduling assignments, conducting staff evaluations, ensuring smooth daily operations, and other routine management tasks
- Address client interactions and prepare related reports
- Ensure the service department achieves at least a 15% profit margin
- Promote and facilitate the department's labor offerings to drive sales
- Monitor and manage department expenditures
- Prepare estimates for internal and customer-required repairs
- Oversee work orders and provide updates on project progress
- Take part in branch-related meetings
- Communicate with representatives from equipment manufacturers as required
- Collaborate with the sales department regarding machine setups and demonstrations
- Conduct final checks on equipment before delivery to clients
- Uphold and require adherence to company-wide safety rules
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing people as well as ability to repair large construction equipment.
- Ability to work with different departments as well as customers
