Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Recruiter for a temporary 6-month opportunity with our client, a food manufacturer located in Brantford, ON. This temporary role focuses on sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent while ensuring a smooth hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment trackers to keep hiring status updated.
- Screen and process internal referrals.
- Post job openings on job boards and social media.
- Pre-screen candidates via phone or video interviews.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers and HR.
- Conduct reference checks and extend job offers.
- Support new hire onboarding with orientation details.
- Collaborate with HR to improve recruitment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of full-cycle (365) recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (degree not required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of hiring laws and best practices.
What is Offered to You:
- Competitive pay rate + 4% vacation pay
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm, 3 days in office, 2 days from home (training will be 5 days onsite)
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
