Job Opportunity: RF Engineer II
Location: Hudson, NH
Shift: 9-80 work schedule. 1st shift
Duration:  3+ months with possible extension

Job Description & Responsibilities
Design and Development:
Design, develop, and analyze RF systems and components for defense and aerospace applications, including transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, and frequency converters.
Testing and Evaluation:

  • Conduct testing and evaluation of RF systems and components to ensure compliance with performance specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to RF systems, including signal interference, noise, power limitations, and performance optimization.
Documentation:
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, test plans, reports, and design documentation, to support development, manufacturing, and maintenance activities.
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful integration of RF systems into larger defense and aerospace platforms.
Compliance and Standards:
  • Stay updated with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to RF engineering in the defense and aerospace sector.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
RF Design Tools:
  • Proficiency in using RF design and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, AWR Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, or similar software.
RF Systems and Components:
  • Strong understanding of RF systems, components, and technologies, including RF circuit design, microwave engineering, modulation techniques, and electromagnetic theory.
Testing and Measurement Equipment:
  • Experience with RF testing and measurement equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. Communication
Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:
  • Ability to analyze complex RF system performance issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions.
