Position: Sales Support Representative (SSR)
Location: Benicia, CA
Contract: 6 months
Shift: M-F 7:30AM-4:00PM
Pay rate: $25.00/hr. - $30.00/hr. DOE

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Support Representative (SSR) to be the primary point of contact for our customers. The SSR will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to respond to customer inquiries. The successful candidate will effectively work with our extensive parts catalog, drawings, and numerous reference materials to support our customers. You will work closely with Sales Engineers and Application Engineers to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding pricing, parts availability, order status, expedite requests, etc.
• Process orders, quotations, and change orders quickly and accurately.
• Discuss and negotiate terms with customers, including lead-times, delivery terms, and payment terms.
• Resolve Accounts Receivable issues, applying credits and discounts as required.
• Understand and ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., SOX, Export Compliance, Terms and Conditions, ISO, etc.).
• Promote effective communication and collaboration across varying functional and business platforms.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment where continuous improvement is encouraged.
• Lead coordination efforts on applicable aftermarket quotes, ensuring close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in supporting 30-day/quarterly sales forecasts and monthly outlook processes.
• Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office to complete various tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong customer focus and results-driven mindset.
• Experience in sales or customer service within an engineered manufacturing environment, with proven success in administrating commercial and/or government contracts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated success in influencing people through effective collaboration, problem-solving, and relational engagement.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of postal regulations related to barcoded mailings.
• Basic understanding of English to follow safety and operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of native language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
