Job Title: Sample Center Associate
Location: Charlotte NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Employment Type: Temporary contract 3-6 months
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hour

Job Summary:
The Sample Center Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations within the sample center. This role includes preparing chemical samples, maintaining inventory levels, organizing supplies, and ensuring all safety and quality standards are upheld. The associate will report to the Marketing Coordinator or a designated team lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process chemical sample requests, including labeling, packaging, and shipping.

  • Utilize internal computer systems to track and fulfill requests.

  • Maintain an organized inventory of filled sample jars and shipping supplies.

  • Ensure the sample center is clean, well-stocked, and aligned with 5S organizational standards.

  • Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and shipment preparation.

  • Monitor supply levels and notify management when restocking is needed.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.

  • Collaborate with team members while also being capable of working independently.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or technical training preferred.

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in a lab, warehouse, or sample center environment is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to read and understand safety manuals and standard operating procedures.

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Work Environment:
This role may involve standing for extended periods, handling chemicals in a controlled setting, and managing shipping/receiving tasks in a warehouse-like environment.
