Job Title: Sand Blaster

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.50 ( Based on Experience )

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Sand Blaster to join our team in Colfax, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sandblasting equipment to clean, prepare, and finish metal or other surfaces for painting, coating, or fabrication. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities:

Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, strip, or smooth surfaces of metal and other materials.

Select appropriate abrasives, nozzles, and blasting pressures for various projects.

Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality and preparation standards.

Maintain equipment by performing regular cleaning and minor repairs.

Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Follow all safety procedures and environmental guidelines.

Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and workspace organization as needed.
Requirements:

Previous sandblasting or industrial surface preparation experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Knowledge of PPE usage and workplace safety practices.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with industrial painting or coating.

Familiarity with various abrasive materials and blasting techniques.
