Kelly® Professional is hiring a temporary Scanning Clerk  for a metal and steel supplier in Huger, South Carolina. As a Scanning Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and scanning various confidential files, including employee personnel files, interview documents, I9, FMLA, and other related documents for electronic retention purposes. Additionally, you will maintain scanners for optimum performance, ensure proper resolution of documents, and process and organize scanned documents in various formats for retention on the network drive.
 
Monday - Friday Schedule: 

  • 8am - 5pm 
  • 6 month assignment 
 
PayRate:
  • $30/HR

Location:
  • Huger, South Carolina 
 
Scanning Clerk Duties:
- Must be able to use a laptop or workstation to perform job duties.
- Frequent movement required to access files and operate office machinery, including computers, laptops, copiers, and scanners.
- Positioning required to reach documents on high and low shelves and in file drawers.
- Frequent communication with other staff regarding the scanning project, requiring the exchange of accurate information.
- Occasional lifting and moving of office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
 
Scanning Clerk Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years of related office experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- High degree of knowledge of modern office equipment and various filing systems.
- Ability to gather information and organize it in an orderly manner.
