What's a typical day as a Scheduling Coordinator? You'll be responsible for working cross-functionally with other departments (i.e. procurement, sourcing, engineering and operations) to ensure all timelines related to the production schedule are adhered to and proceed in an efficient manner. This will involve identifying possible bottlenecks and/or shop capacity opportunities, supporting the material management team, etc.

Specific duties will include:
  • Create, plan, and schedule the production flow from induction to shipment
  • Monitor performance indicators such as TAT, WIP, TAKT and OTD
  • Monitor and assist in forecasting shop load and capacity
  • Interface with materials management team to minimize WIP and shop inventory
  • Facilitate meetings involving materials, operations, engineering, quality and customer service
  • Load and maintain master data information in planning MRP system

  • You have a HS diploma/GED and at least 2 years of working experience in office setting (required)
  • You have solid experience with all MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • You can prioritize and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • You have strong problem-solving skills
  • You have strict attention to detail
