Location: White, Georgia/onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team in White, GA. This role reports to the Controller and is responsible for general accounting functions, financial reporting, cost analysis, and inventory oversight. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated accounting professional looking to grow in a dynamic environment.

Important: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Analyze operating results and variances to plan
  • Assist with annual budgeting and mid-term planning
  • Prepare segment P&L and executive-level month-end reports
  • Support the finance team with detailed financial analysis and reporting models
Cost Analysis
  • Conduct analysis of production, labor, and overhead costs
  • Prepare cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve budget performance
  • Provide cost insights to support pricing and capital project decisions
  • Maintain and update standard cost models
Inventory Management
  • Oversee inventory tracking, valuation, and reporting
  • Perform reconciliations and physical counts
  • Analyze inventory variances and reduce discrepancies and waste
  • Support inventory forecasting and planning processes
General Accounting Duties
  • Prepare and review journal entries
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
  • Support quarterly and year-end audit processes
  • Ensure financial statements are complete and accurate
  • Research and interpret accounting regulations impacting the organization
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years at the senior level
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
  • Strong financial analysis and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
