Job Title: Senior Accountant (Temporary)
Location: Maple Grove, MN (Onsite; potential for hybrid depending on business needs)
Pay Rate: $37–$47/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Temporary (potential for temp-to-hire)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Maple Grove team. This temporary role is perfect for a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in general and cost accounting or public accounting/audit. Competitive pay, immediate start, and potential for permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly account and bank reconciliations with supporting documentation.

  • Conduct variance analysis and resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts.

  • Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements.

  • Monitor capital projects, manage fixed asset postings, and run month-end depreciation schedules.

  • Prepare local and state tax filings and support government reporting.

  • Supervise AP/Administrative Specialist and support administrative office needs.

  • Assist with budgeting and cost estimation for research, production, and tooling.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

  • Support quarterly and year-end audits, including preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • 5+ years' experience in general and cost accounting; or 2–4 years in public accounting/audit.

  • Advanced accounting knowledge, consolidation experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

  • Proficient in Excel; SAP or large ERP system experience preferred.
