What's a typical day as Sr HR Generalist? You'll be:
  • Providing guidance to management and employees on human resources issues, employment law, etc.
  • Maintaining knowledge of HR compliance requirements to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
  • Overseeing employment record-keeping and fulfilling compliance reporting obligations.
  • Monitoring HR policies and practices to ensure consistency with compliance requirements and best practices promoting diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging.
  • Performing advanced employee relations functions, including conflict resolution, performance management, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Conducting complex and sensitive employee-related investigations.
  • Coordinating Leave of Absence programs and processes, including transitional work and accommodations.
  • Supporting various ongoing and ad-hoc projects and initiatives, such as Employee Experience and annual review/performance cycles.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Possess 7+ years of demonstrated experience as a Generalist/Sr HR Generalist.
  • Have expert-level knowledge and practical experience with Federal and California or Oregon wage and hour laws.
  • Are comfortable producing results while navigating ambiguity.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can prioritize and multitask easily without compromising attention to detail.
  • Apply sound judgment and ensure integrity, compliance, and confidentiality while handling highly sensitive information.
  • Have experience with HR Information systems and are proficient with data management tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
