Senior Manufacturing Technician - Minneapolis
The responsibilities of this position are to perform contract manufacturing including custom and aseptic filling.  The Manufacturing Technician will fill antibodies and protein solutions into vials, perform calculations based on volume and purity, and cap and label vials quickly and accurately.  The Manufacturing Technician will work in a laminar flow hood and pipette products for extended periods of time, inspecting vials to identify defects.  They will operate labeling via automation and will troubleshoot machines as needed.  The Manufacturing technician will also perform lyophilization processes, complete paperwork accurately, complete computer inventory entries and track supplies accurately. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Use of Aseptic technique to process bottling of antibodies and proteins; prepping supplies, documents, filling, capping and labeling.
  • Perform various types of different bottling, including made-to-order items, and new production introduction, implementation, and filling. 
  • Perform pipette calibration accurately. 
  • Laboratory clean room cleaning and gowning according to standard operating procedure (SOP).
  • Follow company policies and practices, follow safety guidelines, and follow SOPs.
  • Work in a fast-paced regulatory environment as a team. 
  • May work cross functionally according to the department needs.
  • Learn and comply with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Assist with annual inventory and additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering; or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering and 2 or more years of experience in a GMP environment; or High School Diploma or GED and 6 or more years of experience in a GMP environment
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment and automation, how to perform calculations
  • Ability to practice safety and company procedures
  • Ability to utilize technology with computer proficiency and Excel use.
  • Skills in problem solving, decision-making, and ability to follow written directions.
  • Ability to act independently, to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a high-level accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to be flexible and work longer hours as needed.
Details:
  • Pay rate $23/hr
  • Schedule = Monday Through Friday, 7am – 3:30pm
  • Temp to hire – 1-6 months
