What Will a Typical Day Look Like for You?
As a Service Writer, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, offering excellent service and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
• Serving as the primary point of contact with customers, whether over the phone or in person, and developing strong, positive relationships with key customers.
• Analyzing customer needs, gathering the necessary information, and opening work orders.
• Providing quotes, developing claims, preparing repair plans, scheduling work, and keeping customers informed on repair progress.
• Collaborating with the Service Supervisor/Team Lead to create complex work orders, including diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair plans.
• Scheduling job assignments and assisting in monitoring key performance metrics such as labor productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Resolving customer concerns regarding warranties and charges while maintaining a positive relationship.
This Position Could Be an Excellent Fit for You If You:
• Have previous automotive customer service experience.
• Are skilled in scheduling, processing orders, and managing customer complaints.
• Have experience with computers and relationship-building.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent education.
