Description

This position will be responsible for picking/packing/shipping products, paying great attention to detail, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. We are seeking a passionate, hard-working, and results-driven professional with a background in shipping and receiving functions.

Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks to control and document receiving, storing, and issuing of materials.
  • Receive purchased and completed manufactured items by verifying labeling, and quantities of materials against documentation and enter in QuickBooks.
  • Pick and pack customer orders and review to determine method/ mode of shipment per customer requirements, as well as review shipping materials that may be required using UPS, FEDEX, DHL.
  • Create shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, required customs documents, packing slips and waybills.
  • Ship goods ensuring deadlines are achieved and complete documentation is included.
  Qualifications
  • 2+ years related experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy in counting and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong self-motivation, the ability to learn and take directions, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited directions are required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with on-line shipping, UPS Worldship, FEDEX, DHL and have in-depth knowledge of international shipping requirements and regulations a plus.
Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus

  • Employee will be exposed to moving ladders and carts.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
  • 8 hour shift – Mon-Fri 8:30am – 5pm - ½ hour lunch
Work Location: In person- Telford
