 Location: Lansing, MI
 Pay Rate: $16
 Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm, Mandatory OT-8 hour days Monday-Saturday and then every other Sunday for 8 hours.
 Employment Type: 12-month contract
 Work Setup: Onsite

 What's a typical day as a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator? You will:
  • Efficiently pull, sort, and fill retail, wholesale, grower, and fulfillment orders using company systems like “Carousel” and hand-held scanners.
  • Ensure orders are accurately scanned, packed, and shipped according to customer requirements and deadlines, customizing cartons/skids as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation, including packing lists, time sheets, and tracking using a “wanding” system and materials management software.
  • Restock inventory by pulling products from the warehouse, maintaining stockroom labels and “out of stock” lists, and organizing upper deck products.
  • Operate equipment such as label machines, hand-held scanners, and participate in safe, efficient work practices aligned with company policies and procedures.
 This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Related experience and/or training in order fulfillment or warehouse operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, manuals), strong mathematical skills, and experience with spreadsheets, scanners, and bar codes.
  • Capacity to maintain good attendance, work overtime (including weekends), and physically perform job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Good communication skills and basic computer literacy with programs like “Carousel” and “PickPro.”

Preferred:

  • Experience operating label machines.
  • Familiarity with customized packing and materials management systems.
  • Previous experience restocking, tracking shipments, and fulfilling priority orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple tasks and perform additional job duties as assigned.
  • Steel toe shoes (required for the job but could be considered “nice-to-have” up front if not already owned).
