Job Title: Sign Design Specialist

Job Summary:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our sales staff to craft innovative sign concepts that bring our clients' visions to life. You will create detailed drawings for sign fabrication and installation, ensuring seamless communication with our in-house Universal staff to guarantee accurate production information. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hr
- Shift: 1st Shift

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create drawings and presentations for Sales Staff based on approved sign designs, whether conceptual or specification-based.
- Schedule drawing completion to meet project timeframes and quick turnaround requirements.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope and deadlines.
- Coordinate documentation for all in-house departments, owner approvals, and community permits.
- Stay informed on design industry trends, materials, and environmentally friendly practices.
- Provide insights to enhance company production methods and processes based on your knowledge of the sign industry.
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of work.
- Train and mentor fellow Designers to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Continuously improve your proficiency in signage software and design tools.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of three years of experience in graphic drawing or mechanical shop drawing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flexi is essential.
- Strong understanding of sign fabrication processes and materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to contributing to a growing company culture.
