We are actively seeking a DIRECT HIRE Sr. Logistics Clerk to work at a premier company in El Dorado Hills. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community.

Pay Rate: $19-$22

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday 6pm-6am

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: 
 

• Collate and assemble orders, insert and de-insert kits, statements, etc. 
• Determine and pick stock and materials as required, maintain inventory levels, and organize and set up workstations for different jobs
• Follow all procedures to ensure adherence to MPTQM and company standards.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic equipment as required (bindery, folding, etc) and meter mail. 
• Perform selective inserting as required. 
• Prepare mail correctly (e.g., bundle, sleeve, place on pallet, label it, and shrink wrap the pallet)
• Quality check completed jobs. 
• Resolve production problems in a timely manner. 
• Sort mail appropriately (e.g., international, domestic, by weight, etc). 
• Utilize appropriate factory system to log in, obtain instructions, process, and log out jobs. 
• Weigh and meter in accordance with proper postage instructions (e.g., USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, etc). 
• Complete, fax, and/or file paperwork (e.g., schedules, postage logs, work orders, package accountability, and cost report). 
• Track mail dates and hot jobs to ensure customer agreements are met.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• 1+ year of related experience and high school diploma preferred. 
• Ability to operate a PC and be literate in using application software such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word. 
• At minimum, 7 months to 1 year of related experience in a high volume production environment.
